1 John 1:5-7 (KJV)

⁵ This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
⁶ If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
⁷ But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Isa 53:6  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Exegesis-------

In today's world we are raised up to qualify our self-worth by the way in which we act.  The Father gave us an escape from the taskmaster of the law through His Son, Jesus and yet many still live under the bondage of the law.. It is faith that pleases God and faith will set you completely free from shame, guilt and condemnation.  Won't you proclaim your heart today?  Won't you be set free?  It was truly by His Strips that we were healed.
