Reading 1 John 5:14-15

“Lord what you want for me“

“for you let me close to you. For you to let me come and be with you. For you let me rest with you.“

“But Lord, let you? Aren’t you sovereign? I have to let you?“

“I am.”

Immediately revelation begins to flow from the Throne of Grace with great mercy: The Lord is sovereign and He is omnipresent (everywhere) including close to us and with us at all times. Even tho He is resting with His Children, there’s an activation of that in relationship when they acknowledge and focus, believing, these truths. Spending time with Him day after day has taught us that we can spend time with Him moment to moment: arrive here and you’ll find that the peace that passes all understanding will rise up in your heart and remain.
What an awesome and scandalous Love He is! Thank you Lord! Thank You!

Ps 92

Psalm 92:1-15 (KJV) 1 [[A Psalm [or] Song for the sabbath day.]] [It is a] good [thing] to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: 2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, 3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. 4 For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. 5 O LORD, how great are thy works! [and] thy thoughts are very deep. 6 A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. 7 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; [it is] that they shall be destroyed for ever: 8 But thou, LORD, [art most] high for evermore. 9 For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. 10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like [the horn of] an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil. 11 Mine eye also shall see [my desire] on mine enemies, [and] mine ears shall hear [my desire] of the wicked that rise up against me. 12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. 14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; 15 To shew that the LORD [is] upright: [he is] my rock, and [there is] no unrighteousness in him.

deeper

For I reckon that the
sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory
which shall be revealed in us.
  For the
earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons
of God.
  For the creature was made
subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the
same in hope,
  Because the creature itself
also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious
liberty of the children of God.
  For we
know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until
now.
And not only they, but ourselves
also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within
ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
                                    --     Romans 8:18-23 (KJV)
There are levels inside this passage
that are to be understood.
First off, the sons of God:  As a manifest son of God, which are those
that believe, we enter in to a space where we know our identity in the
Anointing of God.
I use the word Anointing because
that’s what the word Christ means and it suits a purpose here.  Anytime I’ve spoken and you’ve received
deeply from the wells of the Father, the Anointing on my life was
involved.  The Anointing is best
explained as a target.  The literal
translation is “smear” so to enhance the idea of oil being smeared as a faith
avenue for the Holy Ghost in our prayers and other matters where oil is
used.  So to say “The Anointing is here!”
is to say, “The Smear is Here!” haha          - -
doesn’t make much sense does it?
That’s because the Anointing, while it IS the agent that destroys the
yoke of bondage, is nothing without the manifest presence of God.
Without the Spirit of God showing up
to hit the target of the Anointing on YOUR life, the things that were given
through MY Anointing by the Spirit would have missed you completely!  So let us decree today that you’re Anointed
because of the evidences we’ve seen thus far.
Agreed?
Notice in the next portion of the verse a set of words that
says “into the glorious liberty of the children of God.”  Here is that place where shame and guilt have
no place.  Here is where we LEARN to stay
by temperance in falling again and again but never ceasing to rise back up and
tackle the idea that MORE of God is attainable and building up the stamina to
make another go of it.  Have you ever zoned
out and tryed to go backwards?   Well I
praise God right now for the evidence that you did not do so happily.   Signs, my dear friends, signs…
Moving on: Also note that there is a lot of this scripture I
won’t go into because it would take a book to do it.
MAY The Spirit of God give you revelation knowledge of Him in
it according to Eph 1:17-19.
I can tell you this much: when you manifest as a son of the Most High God, when you know your rights and inheritance
fully in revelation more than in thought
, (comes with time, you’re
doing great!), you WILL understand what you are to do about creation’s
groanings and travailings.
Litmus Test HomeWork (Don’t share your answers)
Tell me what you see here:
I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my
supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call
upon him as long as I live. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of
hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. Then called I upon the name
of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. Gracious is the LORD, and
righteous; yea, our God is merciful. The LORD preserveth the simple: I was
brought low, and he helped me. Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD
hath dealt bountifully with thee. For thou hast delivered my soul from death,
mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. I will walk before the LORD in
the land of the living. I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly
afflicted: I said in my haste, All men are liars. What shall I render unto the
LORD for all his benefits toward me? I will take the cup of salvation, and call
upon the name of the LORD. I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence
of all his people. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his
saints. O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine
handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds. I will offer to thee the sacrifice of
thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD. I will pay my vows unto
the LORD now in the presence of all his people, In the courts of the LORD'S
house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
(Psa 116:1-19)

Alright, That’s the ministry portion.  Thank you for those who have written.  It means a lot.
The enemy would lie to us and seek to divide the Body so that
the purpose of the Lord is frustrated.
Romans 8:28-31 ends with a great declaration having to do
with our justification in him being completed: If God be for us, who can be
against us.”
So don’t buy the enemies lie of fear.  Fear is Anti-Faith.  The Opposite of Love IS in fact fear.
I John tells us that Perfect love casts out fear and that
there is no fear in love.  We are praying
for your families.   Thank you for sharing them with us.  We will begin to cover and ask that the Lord
cause that bond to be strengthened and remain
strong.
One thing the devil cannot take from you there is your
spiritual authority over her life.
You have the responsibility to take their names in to the
Throne Room of the King, knowing you’re washed in the Blood and DECLARED
righteouse, and make supplications on their behalf as an intercessor and
Father.   Call them in to the Kingdom,
ask God to send laborers into the camp to guide them and lead them in to a
loving relationship with Jesus and the Father!
If they love the Father, you’re a shoe-in when restoration happens.
Get faithful in handling God’s business for others and He’ll
handle yours..
(Mat 6:33)  Know that
it is God’s business for you to step in to your spiritual authority over your
children.  Know that you do have it and
what you do affects them and the things around them in the spirit realm.  As a child of God you have the power to set, to
put in place, and to keep the spiritual ground around them at peace and safe
for your babies.
Nike that boy! Just Do It!
            God is a
restorer.  Let HIM worry about the how.
Romans 5 says HOPE does not disappoint!
God is not reduced to the Bible and you know it!  We thank God for you!  The best thing you can do is SEEK GOD for HIM.
I don’t recommend to you medication.  I am not a doctor and must tell you that my
opinion is just an opinion and it has zero weight with the authority a Dr has,
but I know that in ministering deliverance, the first thing we do is ween them
off of medication safely because you cannot minister to a repressed and
oppressed soul when demonic activity is a factor.  I think that maybe you’re dealing with
demonic influence.
I know depression is a devil that likes to conform people in
to his image.   I have seen that
stronghold!!  Remember that everything
God has, the devil has a lie for…
I understand if you do not agree and I would recommend that
you make your own decision in this because I am not there to support you from
moment to moment like we would a deliverance candidate
But you guys aren’t experiencing the standard: God has a way
of getting a hold of you and causing you to hunger for him at such a depth that
your freedom comes!  I SEE what He’s
doing, He’s doing the Work.  Trust
Him.

            Question:
Have you prayed in tongues lately?  Do it
to edify your Spirit man.

Mike Barber Weekend @ Hutchins

Hello everyone:
Wanted to keep you in the loop on what we're doing in Jesus' Name!  I had the honor of going in to the Hutchins Unit (TDCJ) tonight and seeing the men there encouraged by Mike Barber and Co.
Brandon, Pastor in Houston, opened up followed by Phil Driscoll and Jesse Duplantis. What a real Group of individuals sharing their hearts out to The men behind prison walls.

The kicker wasn't meeting these Men of God, although it is an High Honor to do so, but that almost every man under that tent stood when asked to solidify their relationship with Jesus. Mike had them all look up for 3 seconds so Jesus could take their picture and it was an amazing sight to see these men, whom society might balk at, hungry for more of God. An High Honor indeed.

The Love of God in Us - Panola County Daily Devotional Extension

When we look at the ABC's of the Christian walk we are looking for a focus, an objective, a goal: something to strive for.  This walk isn't made from works, mind you, but most certainly is evidenced by them.  So what are we looking for?  What can we focus on in our own lives?
Two Sections of scripture come to mind:  II Corinthians 10:3-5 and Romans 12:1 & 2.
This week, We've been taking steps to share what the Lord has give us here.  We pray that it has shed light in your heart and that today we can add to that in the name of Jesus.
Tuesday we looked at Romans 12:1 and saw that Paul was Calling the Roman Believers to do submit to God; "I Beseech you Brethren".  We found out that our submission to God is produced in us "by the mercies of God".
Wednesday, yesterday, we talked about how real sin is in our own lives and that when dealing with other's we must keep that in mind, "Looking at specks past our planks"
Today we explore in our brief time: The Love of God In Us. For more on today's message click the BLOG link @ ChristCarriesMe.org
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All of Scripture reveals to us that God’s will in the earth is to be glorified by His creation – you and I as a born-again believer, have the key and the access to grant His requirement: worshipping in Spirit and in Truth.  Don’t let the doctrine of man sway you, dear believer.  If the Lord says you can talk in other languages, believe that, if He says that you can pray in the Spirit without understanding and then pray FOR understanding afterwards then by faith DO THAT!  Trust that you’ll receive what your spirit has spoken in conversation to the Lord.  If you believe that God has said (to do) and it lines up with His word, do it BOLDLY and quickly.  I promise you this, by follow the commands of Jesus to Love God first, you will get to know Him.  Begin loving on God by pouring out in prayer and using His word (the Bible).  He will disciple you in how to approach, with understanding, His character AND you’ll love your neighbor as yourself.

Following the first commandment of Jesus, to Love God first, is something that increases in us, grows, until we leave this earth.  The increase of our love is by God’s revelation: it happens within our relationship with Him.  It is impossible for man to completely know the depths of the Love of God, for God is Love.  HIS depths are unfathomable to us!  How could our finite minds wrap around the infinite?  Think of it: as a child of God, you have an inheritance that is infinite.  Infinite.  Would you like to hear the good news?  WE HAVE ACCESS TO IT ALL BECAUSE OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD WITHIN US!!!  Let me see if some Word can help us grasp this…
“We love because He first loved us.” – I John 4:19 MEV
So, the cause of my love for Him is His for me?  What a spark!  Does this mean: My love for Him is full & complete or He doesn’t love me at all?  Well, not exactly: Our love for Him is instant in that we have met someone that Loves us completely but as time goes by and He continues to love us our love for him grows as we discover more of Him.
First, there is the initial sanctification of man to Him in salvation: A man can “will” a change by putting pressure on his nature.  He’ll even show change but the moment he releases the pressure he’s back to square one.  When God changes our Nature (in salvation [new heart, new mind]), this radically changes our desires to be aligned with His.  Then, the process of continued sanctification excels and we move on from Faith to Faith and from Glory to Glory.  The more revelation and understanding I have of His love FOR me, the more I’m enabled to retain and to share His love – with Him.   Did you see that?  It’s His love shed abroad in our hearts that makes the difference.  We don’t have it in and of ourselves.  Being born again sets us into our access of the things of the spirit realm by our born-again spirit (“inner man” Eph 3).  THEN AND ONLY THEN can we Worship in Spirit and in Truth.  It is our born-again spirit that has access to the Throne Room, it is there we commune with God, it is there that our RELATIONSHIP is: it cannot exist without it – God is a Spirit & God is Love.

Hold on, let’s go deeper:  If God is love and we are one with Him, who is it that loves others and how is it that we love others as ourselves if we ourselves can’t even love ourselves?!?! Did you see that?  Praise God for Revelation Knowledge of the workings of the Kingdom!  It is GOD who loves us and it is GOD who loves others – we are a vessel for HIM, not for us.  When we are full of self,   we have NOTHING to give and when we are full of Him we STILL have NOTHING to give – That's why Hebrews calls us to strive to enter His rest! HE loves others through us while we rest in Him.  We simply yield and become a conduit of His “electric” power.  We are the connection from the place where He is in the Throne Room and the place where we are in the earth realm: a true "manifestation of the sons of God."

This is why the ABC's are so important: Romans 12:1,2 and II Corinthians 10:3-5:

Remember: the increase of our love is by God’s revelation in relationship.  Loving others starts with loving God.  You cannot love them without ministering to Him first.

I thank you for joining me today, I'm JD and I call you Blessed and Highly Favored!

Panola County Devotional Sept 25, 2017

Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption:  for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back. Isaiah 38:17

It is in the depths of sin that we cannot see sin for what it is.  It is only when the light that is God draws us with His precious Spirit that we are able to even glance at the depths of the wickedness that surrounds the non-believer yea is even issued from his heart. It is the bondage of slavery in Egypt, we knew nothing more than whips and dinner, hushed conversations kept far from our captors ears about God or a new born son and daughter on the way. The person who doesn’t know Jesus lives under such a burden and cannot see that burden as something to be broken but something to be lived with.

It is in the depths of sin that we cannot see sin for what it is. It is only when the light that is God draws us with His precious Spirit that we are able to see the depth of the wickedness in this world.   Dear man, dear woman, has God pricked your heart this morning? Hear the words of The Lord recorded in Isaiah 44:
For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring. And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses, One shall say, I am the LORD’s and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the Lord, and name himself by the name of Israel. Thus says the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me the is no god.

Dear man, dear woman, please hear me when I say to you that your chains are yours by willing choice and that there is a freedom that is offered you this day. Hear me when I proclaim that I was bound  in those chains unknowingly and had it not been for a man called Jesus and a place called Calvary I’d still be there with you, blind and unable to reach out my hand today in offering.

Adversary

Standing in a hallway, full of iron bars and cubbyholes called cells, inside the maximum security women's prison in Gatesville to sow the love of God and the Gospel message seems like a long way off for most people, but for those called to that field it's where we feel alive!  There's something about the anointing on your life being struck by the presence of the Holy Spirit that is tangible and real. It's not something I'd put in to words well but if you have operated in this blessed time then you know what I'm speaking of. To some that place is the pulpit, to some it is mission, to some it is in service, but to all who experience Him, it is the fullest recognition of the real power of the presence of God this side of Shakana Glory: Hallelujah.
It was during this moment when speaking to an offender became a war for her soul. The presence of God was thick and there was a physical manifestation of the enemy and his attempt to divide. During strong ministry and deliverance this evil manifested as a wall like the heatwaves coming from a mid-August highway in south Texas.  Here is this broken soul fighting to conquer this demonic stronghold and a demon strong enough to physically hinder my sight for a moment and at the name of Jesus that thing folded up and fled. It was the faith driven utterance "go in Jesus name" that brought clarity and calm for a moment. Ministry began again and testimony was shares and the demonic presence returned!  I had to wave my hands in front of my face to fight off the disorientation and blurred vision, it was like we were in a loud windy tunnel and couldn't communicate to one another clearly. "The Blood of Jesus was shed to pay the price for sin! Devil you must go from here.  In Jesus' name." And peace returned for a moment.  This went on for a while and I felt prompted to ask, "Do you know if anyone who practices witchcraft?  Do you?"  Immediately the answer came, a dark craft from tribal grounds in Africa was exposed and a name was uttered. She had cast a spell on her, she told me she did, out loud, in front of her, to her face, cast a spell.
Now, a curse without cause cannot light is a phrase we use to define the finished work of the Cross in the Believer's life. Walking in the law of Love (done by faith alone and much repentance), brings to light the new nature (or original nature) of mankind. Adam was created in this nature and at the fall, sin-consciousness was birthed, The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was the wrong tree! Those are soulish choices and the soul was NEVER meant to govern the body, the spirit was!  The choices of the spirit are life and death, blessings or curses. Those are the real choices we make everyday! We think Good/Evil is all that is before us and when we do we are choosing death mostly with a little life in the mercy we might show as judge, but life is different! Life is alive, not condemning, liberating, not "fear to bondage", constraining in that we walk in choices the bring life only and those choices produce a pure Good that supersedes the good of good/evil!!!  All of this is accomplished IN us by Christ and none of it is of us alone. "As He is, so are we in this world."(1 Jn 4)    That being said, she was living in sin, walking out an alternative lifestyle, one contrary to the law of Love, one that cannot follow the commands of God to "Be Fruitful" so she had GIVEN cause for the curse to light!  She had no defense. No shield and buckler, no faith that God loved her enough to love her much less protect. She wasn't submitted. She just didn't know. It was her despair that continued to invite that demon back again and again, that and the curse spoken over her was consuming the Word of God for her at each moment. Thus producing the effect of the thief to kill, steal, and destroy!
I would like to say that we were able to walk her through deliverance completely but we did not. I had never experienced such strength in manifestation of the enemy in battle for a soul but the Spirit of God's presence I recognized and He comforted me as not to fear but to conquer and sow seed into a ground only He is able to soften.   I pray that she went to the services and found repentance, I pray that even now faith is working in her that is founded and rooted in the Love of God for only LOVE conquers all things, from that puny dark and evil presence to the saving of a soul, God is Love and Love is God (1 Jn 4:8,16)

Thanks for listening.
Please respond with your thoughts and comments and questions. I welcome the love.

miséō Conquered

Miséō is the Greek word for "hate" that we see in I John 2:9:
8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
                                                I John 2:8-11 KJV
Strong's defines it as "to hate, pursue with hatred, detest or to be hated, detested."  That's quite a strong word!
As believers we use the word "hate" way to loosely.  "I hate that!" or "I hate it when you do that!" or "I hate broccoli!" This morning hear the creativity in the words you're speaking. Know that by the Words God spoke creation came to be and think on that for a moment.  Let's ask ourselves: "How much DOES my mouth define my reality?"
So that being said, how many of you have something against another believer?  The Word tells us that he who hates is darkness.  Now, I'm not saying that you aren't saved because of it but I can say this: I wouldn't wander to far from the wall your hand is on..  Have you ever turned the lights out at night in the living room and for a second couldn't see a thing but began to wander towards the hall or bedroom?  How many of you know that those who are blinded are led by their feelings?
But there is a seriousness that needs to be dealt with here.  We, as believers, are called to "make our calling and election sure" and to "work out [our] salvation with fear and trembling" so IF we have hatred towards a brother or sister it's time for a heart check!
"But Bro Pierce, I said the prayer of salvation and I got baptized at the church.  I know I'm saved and that's all there is to that!"    Do you?  Now, I'm not going to question your confession because I'm not qualified to do so; but you should...  We must test ourselves to know that we are in the Faith!  Better to test and find ourselves lacking than to not test and find ourselves, without reprieve, in hell.
If you ever come to a place where you are questioning whether or not you're saved, know that it's not God's Ability that's in question. He is able to save to the Utmost!  When you question, and you should do so, do so with an expectant heart.  Doubt, in this sense, is not your enemy. Unbelief is the enemy, Faith and Believing is the friend, doubt notes a place in between the two.  Wouldn't you rather know that you don't know and be able to search for the answer or would you rather find yourself in an eternal bind?
We've used the example of "hate" here because hate is of a nature that we as believers have been freed from. It is but a portion of iniquity and transgression.  That nature is the old nature and the new man, formed in God's image, born again, new heart, new mind, new you is forged in LOVE.  The strongholds of pain and bitterness of our past is something that, now that we are the Lord's, we have the authority to rip down!  This reminds me of the Promised Land, a biblical type and shadow of salvation: Did Israel gain all of the Promised Land? Yes!   In one day or by battle after battle? That's right, they fought for it, they took ground with effort and it took effort to take the ground and keep it!
Is "hate" a city on the hills of your Promised Land?  Can you name it? Define it?  Know it in and out?  Then strategize in prayer with the One Who gave you the victory over it and DEFEAT IT!  What darkness exposed by light remains?  Darkness cannot exist in the presence of light!  In fact, darkness is but an absence of light!  Turn the light on and let's roll on the the next city!  TAKE THE GROUND AND POSSES IT FOR IT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO YOU BY PROMISE!
Amen!  The moment Jesus was raised from the dead Satan was done!  We have to renew our minds ( from the Word of God) that our source is Jesus and that the Spirit of God is within us!  We declare the glory of the Lord over you today! We believe that we receive the manifested presence of God, the manifested goodness of God, and the manifested power of God!

Be blessed!  We love you!

Ministry Update - June 2017

We Praise God for you! This past 2 weeks has been crazy with little office time to sit and write.  It is VERY encouraging to us to see fruit of God produced in others and to be a catalyst for that is humbling.  I guess we never really know which moments in our lives count for someone else in an eternal way.

Ministry is a calling for sure: you have to know that you know or else you’ll let the vision slip from you.  I believe that we received the vision in 2011 for this ministry.  Even the name Christ Carries Me was given then.  It’s easy to see that God is with us because of the connections He’s made in relation to the vision.

For instance: Hellen and Robert Howell and Anne and Al Sherril, two couples, both were
volunteers at Coffield for over 20 years.  They faithfully, week by week, went to the Coffield Boot Camp.  Even on Christmas day, there they were, it was a Saturday, second nature, no questions!

This has impacted us greatly to see people with hearts of gold that go.  Now we see Bro Robert and Sis Hellen pretty much once a month minimum and we are involved in street ministry together as a band (Vessels of Clay) among other things.  Family ties are made in the Blood of Jesus!
The street ministry is called Jesus Burger.   Yeah,  Jesus Burger!  It’s really simple.  The place it’s held is spotted, prayed and fasted over, cross-walked (with giant crosses these guys go door to door and knock on ‘em to love people), finalized and then the events start in that place and continue month to month.  They are usually held in the neighborhoods where the need is and the ministry is “free clothes, live music, free meal.”   Ministers like us are EVERYWHERE and you have a place wherever you go no matter where you are if you're in the Call.  We go and are present and accounted for.  When the meal is served we eat and fellowship with the people.  In the pictures you see, we’d be overdressed for a Jesus Burger… It's not about show, it's about relationship. Check out that LOGO!
We’re blessed to be a part of that Ministry – On Mission Ministries out of Treasure Church, Longview Texas.  They multiply them in cities all over this area every weekend… Amazing people.

We went to the Boyd Unit a couple weekends ago too.  We RV’d like a pro!  Anne and Al and Hellen and Robert and I all stayed overnight because the service time is 7 am.  Robert, Hellen and I went to Tenn Colony directly after that, met up with David and went in to the TC @ Coffield for services.

God is good and faithful to supply open doors to us as we go along.  It’s really something to go and testify or to give a word to someone the Lord shows you.  God is SO good.

Most recently we've connected with Mike Barber Ministries and Bill Glass Behind the Walls.

We send our love to Mike Barber Ministries. We LOVE Sean and the team over there… Their hearts are for God and His in the jails… it’s a big deal, really.  We've entered in with them twice and look forward to working with them MUCH more in the near future.

Mickey Webb wrote to us and suggested we touch base with Volunteer James Guerra.  Well we reached out to him through Mercy Heart where he was at last we knew and he called us back.  He’s now the area director for Bill Glass Ministries and he just so happens to have an event in our area coming up and needed help laying the foundations.  It is SO awesome the way God works.  They’re coming to the Henderson area and need over 200 volunteers to come along.  Here’s James and I at our meeting last week.  We’re excited to be a small part of what God is doing state-wide.  Fear not!

We've been in talks with Kevin Brown.  He and his wife, Debra, are precious to us.  Also Sister Gardner, who is a mighty woman of God and since her husband Anthony passed away, she’s stood strong! She misses him greatly.  The way I figure, he’s missed by many.  Pastor Gardner, was a man you knew to approach well as the Spirit of the Lord was with him.  So, Kevin and I talk regularly.  He gave me a life verse one day in the beginnings of the Ministry vision and didn’t realize it at the time (Genesis 28:15).  That verse stuck with me HARD.  He is doing well and is working to get in to the prisons and volunteer also.  He’s as stout in the Lord as always and he still has a big head! (physically LARGE) 😊

TESTIFY!
Leaving the old life behind is evidence of a true move of God.  It didn’t happen for me until then and I tried to do it on my own.  We were working in the ministry, laying hands on the sick, casting out devils, all that but so did the people in the book of Matthew BEFORE the Holy Ghost and the Salvation of Man!!!  I read once the verse “...but Lord, didn’t we cast out….  Yes, but depart from Me for I never knew you.”  WOAH! That frightened me to no end when I saw that!!  That was the beginning of what I call my “conversion”.  It was the truest point of my life in that I was able to see God as Holy and me as NOT AT ALL WORTHY.   But praise GOD for His Grace (Luke 11:5-13)!  After that experience, the Word came alive, my prayer life began to matter and the prayers I asked I could see being answered, God got involved…  I told God in that deepest pit, “Father, this is what I can do with my life.  I can’t.  You have to!”  and that, my friend, was it.  But HE had to bring me there, you know?  The thing is, now that I know church is full of messy people (As I was one and still am) I can go without being mad at the “hypocrites”.  Where else you want ‘em to be?  HOLY GHOST SETUP! YEAH!

Dearest Reader: That's our update.  Know that we’re praying for you.  We Love you.  Peace!

The Word, the breathed of God

John14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you

Wow!

At that day

The Word became flesh and dwelt among men

The Word is in the Father, spoken, sent forth

I am in the Word, God spoke an it contains me in it

The Word created and nothing was created that was not created by The Word

I am upheld (I exist) by of the Word of His power

The very same Word is in me

The Word

Breath of life

Spirit of God

Comforter that speaks not of His own but Reminds us of the Word

In us, in me! and (key) I know it! (It's not pride to know who you are, the devil is a liar!)

Do you know it? IN you... at that day! John 14:15-27

Pagan Prophet?

WORD STUDY TODAY, simple and straight:

In our language (English) much is lost in translation from Hebrew.  "Prophet" for example is from Old French via Latin from the Greek!  That's quite a history!

Jewish teachers submit that the Hebrew language is a "pure" language in that it's words are built on characters that have meaning in themselves.  Today, a quick word study: The Hebrew word, original meaning as written and conveyed in the Old Testament, for our word, "Prophet".

נָבִיא

Prophet in ancient Hebrew is spelled NUN, BEYT, YOD, ALEPH.  pronounced "(naw-bee')"
The Hebrew language is read from right to left!

The First Letter
Nun - The number 50. The picture of the seed.  Yeshua (ישוע) is good seed, and Satan is the bad seed.  Hebrew teachings ascribe that only two seeds exist in all the world - both produce fruit.   Fruit, seeds, seeds, fruit.   Carries the idea of  "Unstoppable Motion" and "Offspring, heirs"

The Second Letter
Beyt. The number 2.  Pronounced b or v.  Picture of a house. Has to do with family. Points to Jesus.
Aleph - #1 Points to the Father, Beyt (Bet) - #2 Points to the Son, and Gimel - # 3 Points to the Ruach ha-kodesh (Holy Spirit).

The Third Letter
Yod. The number 10. Picture of an arm and an hand.  Has to do with Work, Actions, what you do, what you sow(seeds)(words).

The Fourth Letter
Aleph - number 1. Picture of an ox head. Has to do with the Father.  Abba Father. Has to do with headship. Head of the family. Yoked to and taught by one's headship (The Father). Points to Strength and power.  (Oxen are usually yoked - gives us the idea of yoked).  "Elohim" is plural.  Aleph points to the Father. .
When you say "Abba" you're saying, "Father, You are the headship of this house and this house belongs to You!"

Putting the pictures together to spell prophet says:

Seed, House, Arm/Hand, Head   Can you see the character of a Biblical Prophet here?  Can you receive the revelation of the descriptives for each odiot (letter)?  How personal is that?  Glory!

Galatians Freedom

Gal 5:13-26 Phillips

It is to freedom that you have been called, my brothers. Only be careful that freedom does not become mere opportunity for your lower nature. You should be free to serve each other in love. For after all, the whole Law toward others is summed up by this one command, ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself’. But if freedom means merely that you are free to attack and tear each other to pieces, be careful that it doesn’t mean that between you, you destroy your fellowship altogether! Here is my advice. Live your whole life in the Spirit and you will not satisfy the desires of your lower nature. For the whole energy of the lower nature is set against the Spirit, while the whole power of the Spirit is contrary to the lower nature. Here is the conflict, and that is why you are not free to do what you want to do. But if you follow the leading of the Spirit, you stand clear of the Law. The activities of the lower nature are obvious. Here is a list: sexual immorality, impurity of mind, sensuality, worship of false gods, witchcraft, hatred, quarrelling, jealousy, bad temper, rivalry, factions, party-spirit, envy, drunkenness, orgies and things like that. I solemnly assure you, as I did before, that those who indulge in such things will never inherit God’s kingdom. The Spirit however, produces in human life fruits such as these: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, fidelity, tolerance and self-control—and no law exists against any of them. Those who belong to Christ have crucified their old nature with all that it loved and lusted for. If our lives are centred in the Spirit, let us be guided by the Spirit. Let us not be ambitious for our own reputations, for that only means making each other jealous.

Report from Gilmer - Jesus Burger Success, yet again!

When the Lord woke us up a little after 4 am, the first call in our spirit was to pray that God would come down in Gilmer and for fare weather.  Laying in bed, before our feet hit the floor physically our hearts entered the Throne Room spiritually.  PRAISE GOD for His love and His faithfullness to grant us entrance to such marvelous moments!  As if standing on the streets of Gilmer we spoke to the wind and rain calling it to be dispatched elsewhere for a while today, that the Lord's business might transact there.  Instantly a conviction and a searching rose within me.  "Am I coveting the power of God here?  'Father, I'd rather your pureness than power.  Would you forgive my flesh for longing to see Your power?  Lord, give us fare weather, just as we've spoken, but help me maintain pure motives.'".  I felt released there, as if that matter was settled.  It was.

This is the view of the weather over Gilmer from about 20 miles away.

It rained on me from the time I left the house until I finished taking these images.  I rejoiced in the LORD when on the distant horizon I saw that He'd breathed and the wind and the rain obeyed.  When we finished up near lunch, it was  blue sky's and cirrus clouds.
Awesome God.

Here is the video of Jesus Burger Gilmer.  These are only the moments seen on the platform, it was here that ministry flowed from.  You should have seen what we didn't get on tape!  God was there all day!

We love you!  Thank you for supporting us, in Jesus' Name

...but not with thy sword, nor with thy bow.

"And I sent the hornet before you, which drave them out from before you , even the two kings of the Amorites; but not with thy sword, nor with thy bow." Josh 24:12

Read Joshua 24:1-15

You want to win a war but you don't want to service God?

"It's not my war. The battle is the Lord's!" has become cliche and we've lost the understanding of how our pride and arrogance impact the spirit of our words.

"It's not my war." should come to mean,

"How dare I think for a moment that something God has chosen to glorify Himself with, the victory over my enemies, is something I can take credit for."

Joshua gathered all of Israel together because what he had to say was important (v1).  He then, with authority, announced and imparted the vision and majesty of Who God is and had been to the people (vv. 2-13) and then brought the responsibility of each person to light with a commission, a plan of action, a call (vv. 14-15).

Today, were is the Spirit of the Lord in Power in our meetings?  What is it that is needed to reveal the fear of the Lord in our congregation? Why, it's the Lord Himself, coming down, being present, holiness manifested!  It's a place we've heard about.  It's a place some of us have experienced a portion of in our lives.  It's a place people talk about.  Where is it right now?

We're so busy and caught up in our phones and computers!  Even now as I type this message I feel His conviction!  We should call facebook and twitter what they really are, "Anti-Social Networks" because what they do is allow us to show a face without action, a mask, the VANITY OF OUR MINDS rather than the evidence of our walk!  Oh Lord help us to seek You!  Lord help us to find You!  Lord, call us into times of prayer and fasting that are unheard of today!  Lord, help!  Come down! Lord, please!

Reader, don't you want to feel the cleansing power of the presence of the Lord corporately?  Would you like to see your husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters flee from sin as if they'd seen the devil himself in it?  THAT is revival, THAT is what happens when God Steps Down.
Have you tried to help them? Have you cried trying to get them to listen?

It's time abandon all our own devices and minister unto the Lord.  "If My people," the Lord said, "which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

#Commission - Time to pray without ceasing.

When God Stepped Down from Heaven by Duncan Campbell
Topic: Revival History
Description: Listen to this first-hand account of the Lewis Revival during the early 1950s. Duncan Campbell was God's instrument in this extraordinary awakening. In this tape Campbell recounts point-by-point this three-year movement of the Holy Spirit over the Hebrides Islands. Thousands were converted, conviction overwhelmed villages, outward sin disappeared, and prayer meetings were packed! Your heart will be thrilled as you listen to this tape about this heaven-sent revival in Lewis.

Nothing Impossible in Prayer

We believe that the Gifts of God are irrevocable and that the same power gifted to the men Jesus spoke to is available today for those who will.

Pastor Allan Johnson

Panola County Jail Services

Boy! Today was something else!
We were called upon by some friends of ours to cover the PCDC Jail services for today and it couldn't have been more on time. The Word of the Lord came from Joshua 7&8 and repentance in its truest form was preached as the Spirit of God imparted understanding to two services of men.
In ch 7 a man is holding on to something he likes that's accursed. We posed the question "what is it your keeping back from surrender to God?". Then the Lord led them to search much like Joshua did, throughly, to find that sin that besets easily!  In chapter 8 the Lord called them to attacking the city once proclaiming surrender of that accursed thing and not only taking more ground in their salvation's Promised Land but killing the ruler of that city too!
It came together differently in each service: One with Abraham's obedience at Miriah and the other Gomer being purchased by her husband - but in the end the Word was imparted, repent, keep rank, do not be of double heart! In Jesus' name!

Be blessed!

You mean "always" always?

"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."

 II Thes 5:16-18 KJV

How we spend our time in life makes the difference.  The days are passing moment by moment and our life script is being recorded in indelible ink by the very finger of God Almighty.  "Consider the ant..." the Proverb instructs us, consider the ant indeed...

It seems to me that one little ant all alone carrying a grain of sand doesn't constitute much of a threat to humanity, but that's not the only grain he's going to tote!  Fire ants were introduced to the US in the 30's. Little biting critters in the Ports of Alabama and today that little grain of sand has expanded their territory to cover over 1/2 the United States!

That being said, considering the ant, every thought is as a grain of sand, every moment is a placement or displacement of the ground we're standing on.

The Word tells us to REJOICE ALWAYS, always is a lot of time and a lot of that time we're disobedient to that command and in doing so we lament, regret, grieve and weep instead!

To PRAY WITHOUT CEASING is cited: how hard do we struggle to find 2 1/2 hours with God a day in this age?  Even if we mumble "Lord Jesus, guide me." every 15 minutes that's still disobedience!

GIVE THANKS IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES: are you thankful reading this right now?

All of this to prove that man can't do it and if it's to be done that God must!
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.   Galatians 5
"Walking in the Spirit" is, I believe, what Jesus was doing when He said, "even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.". and it is what we are commanded to do:
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.   John 4
Part of our recovery program teaches that we must "turn over our will and our life to Jesus Christ".  It is a teaching on submission.  If we get turned around and start focusing on submitting one to another it gets hard but when we focus on submitting to God and get THAT right the "one another" part comes naturally as that battle is fought and won at the cross rather than on this battlefield called "one another".   There is more here to dig into but another time perhaps.  We'll leave you with this:  You can walk in the anointing of God

Calling Mighty Men of Valour - Update w/video

Today in reading I Chronicles 12 the Lord began to reveal to us that the "members of the ekklesia, the church, have been literally "called out" of the world in order to live free of its dictates and to belong fully, at every moment, to God and to one another" AND that during this new season that the Lord is calling the warriors to the lines stronger than ever before.
It is time to stand up and say "Thine are we, David..." (12:18) or discount the move of God in sending the King "away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul to the jeopardy of our heads." (12:19)

It is time to choose who you'll serve and stick to that without wavering!

Joshua was told to be strong and of good courage and when the Lord provided a headship over millions of Israel, Israel herself said, "We'll follow you, only be strong and of good courage."!

Are you a part of this coming together or are you gambling that you will be okay and that there is time to wait? I'm telling you today that if you are not praying regularly and digesting the Word of God daily then you are far behind. We need to be walking and applying scripture to each step we take and it's past the time to walk around with open Bibles not paying attention to our steps. The Word within you MUST come forth and in Power! It is time, Saint, to deploy the seed you've been given, it is time new believer to eat and eat and serve and serve as you go to grow into a MIGHTY MAN/WOMAN OF VALOUR! David's crew was said to be "expert in war, with all instruments of war...which could keep rank: they were not of double heart." Where are you my dear believer? Have you fallen for the lie that it's alright to straddle the fence? Let me reveal to you today the scope of that lie: THERE is no fence. If you have even began to identify the line between good and evil you're already headed in the wrong direction! FOCUS and turn your face to Jesus today and never look back!

Are you receiving this? Can you hear the tone in our typed words and the severity and desperation of the plea we make today? It is time! It is happening now! Are you a part of it?

"All these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king." (12:38) Christ (Whom David typifies here) IS KING and the question remains, "Who will you serve?" We love you and today we call you to service in Jesus' name

Will your harvest come from non-believer kindness?

I believe that we'd all like to believe in humanity as a people but then it smacks me in the face that left to ourselves we'd revert to bludgeoning one another in the head with clubs.  The Word of God tells us that we are to love one another and that instruction is purposeful.  There is no instruction that I've found for us to love ourselves... obviously, we have that one covered.  Cynicism aside, we all struggle to bring the flesh into subjection to the Spirit if the Lord Jesus is our Lord and Savior.  It is something that we all aspire to, this "being Christ-like" and it is a wonderful thing to see others grow into His likeness.  It is also VERY encouraging to hear that you've grown from someones perspective.  But, what about non-believers?  Can they be kind and love others?  Can they be "Christ-like" without Christ?
After reading a blog post today I sat in my office and cried a little:  Someone has taken the time to put together content in a blog that shows acts of love, one for another, in this world in a way that just makes sense, naturally.  It's not performed, it's not staged, it's not "hold on, do that again for the camera!" stuff, but moments.  These moments are people being good people for no real measurable gain.  I don't know that these men, women, and children were all non-believers but I do know that some of them were.  How does this kindness speak?  What does it say?   There's no mention of Jesus, no religious form to it, just an act of kindness or a gift from the heart given.
What are we doing as believers to act like this?  How is Christ's image being portrayed in your life today?  If we are, and WE ARE, in His image and don't do what He did then we're showing others that Jesus isn't Who He is but something else entirely.  We must become the examples of kindness and love.  We have to become the catalyst for change if a lasting change is to be made.
Today, stop someone with a grimace and ask if you can pray for them.
Officer joins prayer unexpectedly...
Tell them that you love Jesus and that Jesus has provided relief and peace for them and ask them if they need or want some of that.  We yelled across a parking lot just the other day to a young man sitting on the curb, "Hey bro! We got coffee, cookies, and some Jesus in here if you want some!" and he laughed and came for the coffee, left with Jesus!  Amazing opportunities await you today.  Relationships that last a lifetime are connected in these moments.  We call you today to service.  We love you

Comments? Questions? Let's talk. We want to hear testimony of your application!
