We were called upon by some friends of ours to cover the PCDC Jail services for today and it couldn't have been more on time.
The Word of the Lord came from Joshua 7&8 and repentance in its truest form was preached as the Spirit of God imparted understanding to two services of men.In ch 7 a man is holding on to something he likes that's accursed. We posed the question "what is it your keeping back from surrender to God?". Then the Lord led them to search much like Joshua did, throughly, to find that sin that besets easily! In chapter 8 the Lord called them to attacking the city once proclaiming surrender of that accursed thing and not only taking more ground in their salvation's Promised Land but killing the ruler of that city too!
It came together differently in each service: One with Abraham's obedience at Miriah and the other Gomer being purchased by her husband - but in the end the Word was imparted, repent, keep rank, do not be of double heart! In Jesus' name!
