Auction Block: "SOLD!"

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree...
Galatians 3:13

     We can substitute the word "redeemed" here and translate this verse, "Christ has publicly purchased us from the curse of the Law unto himself and for his own use." Not only has He freed us from the tyranny of sin, self, and the devil (Romans 3:24 apolytrosis), but by offering up his own life as a payment, He's bought us out from under the power and authority of the curse of the Law, and He's placed us under his own light yoke and easy burden to serve him as a "doulos" servant. What a price that's been paid, what a love that's been shown. Justice was served from the Father's throne.
