Good day. Listen, we were getting ready to travel and the Lord used our conversation on jewlry to teach me something... when the children of Israel left Egypt they were adorned by God with much glory. Much jewelry bracelets earrings nose rings necklaces, lots of gold lots of symbol lots of glory... What did they do with it? They forgot who God was and made that glory their god. See the Golden Calf in Exodus.
What has our glory that God has given us become? Are His blessings and His promises being made our god? If we are operating to please God for His blessings and promises and not because we fear him, we truly don't know him at all. Now that is a thought for the day.
