Deuteronomy 10 and 8 informs us that the Levites are to stand before the Lord to minister. This part of your job gets to be the very essence of what worship is.
The second most used Greek word in the Bible that means to worship is latreuo, which means to minister to God ... For now it is enough to know that there is not a single word for worship in the Bible, Greek or Hebrew, that includes the idea of ministry to mankind. Worship is simply not for us. It is for God.
If the church would embrace this, we would have a cultural revolution within our own drinks - a conversion from idolatry to the truth. Why do I say idolatry? Because we have marketed to people what was meant as ministry to Jesus.
